Lone Oak Rescue - More About Us

Originally located in the San Francisco East Bay area our organization
is now located on 60 wonderful acres in the Yosemite foothills.
We are 100% volunteer run and operate solely on donations and efforts of our volunteers. To learn more about our rescue, our facility and what you can do to help please contact us.

Our Mission is to provide a safe, positive environment for those horses at risk of slaughter.
Through rehabilitation and retraining of the horse we bring them back to a healthy state, so they are suitable for placement. When able they are placed into homes that are suitable both the horse and the adoptive family. We continue to monitor the status of the horses to ensure their safety and well being.

Our need for volunteers and support is ongoing, with this support, we are able to accomplish more, and have a larger impact in our rescue efforts. We welcome new volunteers with open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become a cherished part of the Lone Oak family.
