Adopting a Rescue Horse
Lone Oak Rescue is limited by the number of horses we can care
for at any one time. However, as we place horses we have rescued to their
forever home, we replace them by rescuing others. For this reason we ask
you to consider adopting a horse from Lone Oak. Not only are you likely
to obtain a beautiful animal, but you will also enable us to save more
horses.

What is the Adoption Fee?
our adoption fees are minimal, in some cases waived. Our adoption fees help us offset costs encured from the long rehabilitation process, and helps us to continue with our mission. All adoption fees are non-refundable however if an adopted horse does not match the adoptors needs that horse may return to Lone oak for a more suitable match. Lone Oak Rescue makes no profit from these fees.
Consider Sponsoring a Horse
Please consider a single or a monthly sponsorship of a rescue horse. Any amount helps us to provide, feed, veterinary and farrier care to the animals at our rescue. Non-profit donations are tax deductible.
Foster a Horse
We are always looking for qualified foster care providers. We ask that you not be a first time horse owner and have the ability to transport a horse for care if need be. Please contact us if you are interested in fostering, all costs related to the direct care of the horse are tax deductable.
